How do I find the best weather for a golf trip?

We score every candidate day across a 10-year weather baseline (and a live forecast for dates within 7 days), then find the multi-day stretch with the best conditions — judged by the weakest day, because one washout can ruin a trip.

Can it suggest courses near the ones I’ve picked?

Yes. Set how many courses you want to play, choose a search radius (up to 35 miles of any course you’ve picked), and we’ll recommend the best-weather courses nearby to round out your itinerary. Recommendations are ranked purely on weather; a “Top 100” badge is shown for context where it applies, but never changes the ranking.

How far ahead can I plan?

Dates within about 7 days use a live multi-source forecast. Beyond that we use a 10-year typical-conditions baseline (climatology) so you can plan months ahead — it’s a reliable guide to what’s normal for that week, not a forecast.

Is the trip planner free?

Yes. Anonymous users can run several trip plans per day; signing in removes the limit.
